Instructions to make Idli sambhar:

  1. In a pressure cooker put oil add onions saute till golden now add ginger garlic paste green chilli paste saute them till loose oil..
  2. Now add tomates paste saute till tomatoes sperates the oil,now add chopped vegetables and masalas into it and stir them..
  3. Masalas loose oil, now add approx 1 or 1.5 glass of water and cover the lid.after one whistle gas flame should be low..and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.

  5. Now for tadka.,in a tadka pan put some oil,heat the oil,add all the tadka ingredients one by one,and pour on cooked dal cover lid for few minutes..
  6. Sambhar is ready..serve with rice,idli vada, dosa.
